Chambersburg High School Class of 1965 Scholarship
The Chambersburg High School Class of 1965 Scholarship Fund is awarded to a graduating senior of the Chambersburg Area School District who intends to further their post-secondary education/training at an accredited institution. The number of awards as well as award amounts are determined by the CASD Foundation Board of Directors' Scholarship Committee with input from the CASHS Class of 1965, the scholarship's sponsor..
To qualify the senior on track to graduate from Chambersburg Area School District, must be a direct descendant (blood relative) of a member of the CASHS Class of 1965, must be in good academic standing (GPA of 2.5 or higher), pursing post-secondary education at an accredited institution (university, college, trade or technical school), and shall be eligible for the award by submitting an online application to the CASD Foundation on or before a deadline near the end of March of each year.
The award will be presented at the annual "Night of Stars" at CASHS in April, 2023, or at a similar appropriate award ceremony. All disbursements shall be paid to the institution of higher learning and may be used for tuition, board, and textbooks. Should the recipient decide against usage of the award as stipulated, the award will be returned to the Fund.
Online applications are available on Foundation / Scholarships (casdonline.org) by January.
The tentative deadline for application for the 2024 scholarship is the end of March 2024.
